Raise The Roof - 15th Concert

SALUTEMUS continues its series of Music to Raise the Roof (in aid of the church roof fund) in Nunney Church.

The 15^th concert took place on Friday 10^th May at 7.00pm and was given by FROMAGE EN FEU, who describe themselves as ‘a red-hot faux-French Gypsy Balkan Klezmer Band’. The Guardian said ‘they bring a distinctly fun attitude to world music’ and they have a reputation for playing tunes as ripe and fruity as an old Camembert at speeds that can barely be imagined. It was a great evening!

A SELWOOD JOURNEY

The Selwood Foundation held a Spring party in Nunney on Sunday 7th April to celebrate the 900th anniversary of the Knights Hospitaller, also known as the Order of Malta and continuing the Arthurian theme of previous events. Music, sponsored by The Selwood Foundation, was provided by SALUTEMUS.

FAURÉ REQUIEM

SALUTEMUS provided the organist for two recent performances of Fauré's famous 'Requiem'.

Palm Court Trio in Wanstrow
